I can’t believe it is June already. 

My testimonial is history and I have only a few more dinners to go to.  Soon I’ll be in Minneapolis and will be turning over the position to DGE Marv.  I would like to thank everyone in the District for making my year as DG such a great experience.  This time a year ago I was scratching my head wondering what I had gotten myself into.  Today I can tell you that it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. How it all began… A History of Visions
In the early 1920’s, six women formed an organization devoted to serving New Yorkers who were blind. They discovered that the needs of the blind community were being overlooked, and desired to create an environment with accommodations and services specially designed for people who are blind. The organization, called VISIONS VCB (Vacation Camp for the Blind), started on March 5, 1923 with sixty-two charter members which grew to more than four hundred within a month. [MORE]
